How to Play the Prosperity Game

Today I’d like to share a very fun game that will help you to attract large amounts of money into your life. And before you ask, NO this game does not require you to purchase 6 inch stilettos or miniature ziplock bags.

It’s called “The Prosperity Game”, and it’s an exercise from the best book ever: “Ask & it is Given” by Abraham Hicks.

The Prosperity Game helps to release limiting thoughts and beliefs regarding finances which shifts your energy field and opens you up to receive greater and greater amounts of money.

How to play: Begin by creating an imaginary checking account. On the first day, deposit $1000 into your account and spend it by visualizing what you would buy.

On the second day, deposit $2000 and spend it.

On the third day, deposit $3000 and spend that.

Continue increasing the amount by $1000 every day and be sure to use your imagination to spend all the money immediately.

I’m currently playing this game with my mastermind group every day for the next 30 days. We’re using Pinterest as a way to show each other what we’re purchasing, which is fun as it feels like we’re shopping online (today was day one… click here to see what I bought with my first $1000!)

If you don’t use Pinterest, you can still play the game by writing down in your journal what you are buying with your “vibrational” money.

Since my subconscious habit is to conserve or save money, playing the game helps me think in a way that is more in alignment with a belief in UNLIMITED ABUNDANCE. I’ve played this game in the past and it always boosts my money vibes.

During an intuitive reading I was giving this morning, my client asked about her finances. Before I could even think about it, I blurted out something awesome:

“WORRY is the CAUSE of most financial problems.”

What that means is that the vibrational frequency that you emit when you are worrying, attracts circumstances that perpetuate financial difficulty. If you can make an effort to STOP REACTING to your circumstances with more worry, your finances will improve. This is where the Prosperity Game comes in handy.

If you are in the middle of money woes, or if you desire to increase the flow of money, try playing this game with me for the next 30 days.   Feel free to leave a comment with a link to your Pinterest board, or to request a Pinterest invite if you don’t already have an account.  I’d love to hear your experiences with the game!

Wishing you money up the wazoo,

I wanna try! I wanna try! I’m gonna do it! Hypothetical shopping lists are my kinda game. I tried this earlier this week and it does make you at least look at money more positively. Woo hoo. Spending spree.

Sounds like fun. I prefer money in my wallet, pockets and bank account. As far as the wazoo goes Id prefer to keep the money free. :-) ~

What an amazing idea!! I’m going to pay off my student loan that has been haunting me for years and years. It feels like such a relief actually (even though it’s just imaginary). I can’t imagine what I’ll buy for 30,000 on the last day … but we’ll see. Thanks!

I’m playing along! Here’s my Pinterest link: http://pinterest.com/knittinnoodlin/prosperity-game/

I’ve played this game before but the Pinterest twist on things will definitely make it more fun. I started yesterday and on a whim bought a scratch-off lottery ticket that night…and won a little dough. So that was kind of fun! =)

I haven’t started yet, but I’d love to play along and I’ve set up my board here: http://pinterest.com/candancing/prosperity-game/

I didn’t know the Prosperity Game and I’m trying on a private WeHeartIt account. I’m on day 9 and, hopefully, will carry on for more than 30 days. I’m finding it lots of fun. Thank you, KB, for this inspiration.

Hi KB, loved the post. I did read ask and it is given, and did not remember this exercise!

    Dear KB,

I am going through major financial crisis currently. When I came across your article today I must say it was like eye opener to me. In fact I started my Pinterest today itself. I am going to follow this for next 30 days and forever may be:-))) Thanks a ton for showing us a way to create joy out of sorrows:-)))
